Nuacht Niocláis - latest news

Parent Contributions

Many of the services that Scoil Niocláis provides are as a result of parent contributions. Recently, those contributions to swimming, art, Irish Dancing and local contribution are “drying up”. The school has tried to lessen the financial burden on families in recent years by cutting some activities e.g. Speech and Drama classes and by reducing the number of fundraising events e.g. Golf Classic etc..

However, if we are to continue to offer the best learning environment and experiences for our pupils, all parents must make the effort to contribute. Otherwise, these events will have to be cancelled. So, if you haven’t made your contributions to date, we would be grateful if you could do so now. Thank you all for your continuing support for Scoil Niocláis.

Please refer to the recent note from the school to all families.

Fr. Walsh’s Silver Jubilee Celebrations

The parish assembly is organising a celebratory night for Fr. John on Friday, May 28th. The celebrations will begin with mass at 7.30pm in the church followed by refreshments and a presentation to Fr. John in the parish centre directly after mass. All parishioners are warmly invited.
If you wish to give a voluntary donation, it can be put into the tall brown box between altar and sacristy in the church. Contributions are going towards refreshments and a presentation to Fr. John.
