Last month, the three 3rd classes visited the Blackrock Observatory and it was really great. Our teacher’s name for the day was Frances. Frances made the inside of a real comet and we made paper comets with straws and ribbons. We played `Comet Chaser’ twice. I learned lots about comets and played a quiz and voted with remote controls. For the real comet we mixed water and dry ice, dirt, salt and ammonia. It was really interesting at Blackrock Observatory.
